Today you get up early! We start today in the Nasir Al Mulk Mosque, to see the special light through the colored windows. Together with the guide you go towards Persepolis and Necropolis. Keep in mind that today is a long day. When you are on the road, you actually go back 2,500 years in time. Persepolis was built by Darius I who came together with all leaders and ministers from the region during his reign. After an extensive visit to Persepolis we continue to Necropolis, the royal rock tombs, accommodation in Barzegar House.
Today there is free time in the morning to relax at the Caravanerserai, an oasis of peace that used to be used by the pilgrims and traders passing through the Silk Road through ancient Persia. From the Caravanserai we travel to Yazd, a relaxed city in central Iran. Yazd has a beautiful central square and mainly adobe houses, perhaps this afternoon a visit to the Jaame mosque or thebazaar.
Today is dominated by Zoroastrianism, an interesting flow of faith that is based on good and evil and the elements of nature. This religion comes from ancient Persia. The Zoroasters are a small minority in Iran and are mainly concentrated around Yazd. We visit the Towers of Silence and the Temple of Firewhere the eternal fire of Zoroastrianism burns, another visit to the Dolatabaad gardens.
From Yazd we drive to Garmeh, an oasis on the edge of the desert. On the way we will visit Chak Chak, the Mecca of the Zoroasters, in the desert, in the mountains. This part of the desert is called the Dasht-e Kavir. You spend the night in a traditional lodge, with a beautiful oasis garden.

Today the journey continues to the traditional mountain village Abyaneh. A trip through savage mountains and vast vistas. This village is especially popular among the Iranians as a tourist destination. Only 100 people live in the village because of the isolated location, but the inhabitants of this village have their own traditional costumes and they make special souvenirs. Only the route to this is already more than worth it. From Abyaneh we go towards Kashan. Here we spend the night in one of the traditional houses of Kashan. In Kashan we visit the Fin Gardens, famous Persian gardens, at the end of the afternoon.
You leave Kashan today and head for Qom, except Mashad, the most sacred city in Iran. The Ayatollah is in Qom and you visit the tomb of Fatimeh. Note: Appropriate clothing is required in Qom. From Qom you continue via Tehran to the Taleghan Village.
